Max Verstappen has absolutely dominated Singapore this weekend. After taking sprint pole and winning the sprint race, he's now backed it up with pole position for the Grand Prix itself. The Oracle Red Bull Racing driver clocked a stunning 1m31.373 to edge out the two Ferrari drivers and prove once again why he's the class of the field at Marina Bay.

Charles Leclerc will line up second on the grid with Lewis Hamilton completing the front-row lockout for Ferrari. Hamilton's Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli managed to figure out the upgraded Mercedes package and qualified fourth, which is a decent result for the Italian driver on a weekend where George Russell has had a proper shocker. Lando Norris rounds out the top five after being cleared by stewards following his sprint race investigation, so McLaren will at least have one car in a decent position.

Russell qualified sixth but won't start there because of a penalty that drops him to the back of the grid. That means Oscar Piastri gets promoted to sixth alongside his McLaren mate Norris, though ninth after qualifying is hardly what either driver wants on a night like this. Pierre Gasly will line up eighth for Alpine, with Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls occupying the fifth row in ninth and tenth respectively.

The grid order tells you everything about where the pace really lies heading into race day. Verstappen's complete dominance across the entire weekend shows Red Bull have nailed the setup for Singapore's demanding circuit. Ferrari have shown they're still competitive with Leclerc backing up his pace from practice, but they'll need a perfect race to trouble the flying Dutchman. Meanwhile, Mercedes will be hoping Russell's penalty is the worst of their problems and that both their cars can score meaningfully come Sunday.
