Lando Norris has done it again at Zandvoort. The McLaren driver secured his second consecutive victory at the Dutch circuit, putting on a dominant display in what's set to be the final Formula 1 race ever held at the iconic seaside venue. It's a bittersweet moment for the track, but Norris made sure to end its reign with a proper show of pace.

The Mercedes pair of Kimi Antonelli and George Russell rounded out the podium, with Antonelli finishing 11.5 seconds adrift of the winner. Russell grabbed third place, over 15 seconds back. The real surprise was seeing Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, both driving for Ferrari, down in fourth and fifth respectively. Hamilton was 16.7 seconds down, while his teammate Leclerc couldn't close that gap either, finishing just 0.5 seconds further back. Oscar Piastri in the second McLaren managed to bag points in sixth, though he was well back from the battle up front at 32.3 seconds.
It wasn't a great day for Ferrari's championship ambitions, especially with reports suggesting tension over strategy calls during the race. Hamilton particularly seemed frustrated with decisions made from the pit wall. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen's day ended in disappointment with a DNF, adding to what's been a tough weekend for Red Bull at his home circuit.

The rest of the field saw Liam Lawson in the second Red Bull car come home in seventh, over 79 seconds behind Norris. Nico Hulkenberg for Audi, Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin, and Pierre Gasly's Alpine all finished a lap down, with several others following suit. It was a disastrous outing for some, with five drivers not making it to the chequered flag.

This result keeps Norris firmly in contention heading into the season's business end, and it's a reminder of just how competitive McLaren has become this year. Ferrari, meanwhile, will have some serious questions to answer about their strategy and race execution as they look ahead to the remaining rounds.
