Lewis Hamilton's had some choice words with Ferrari over the radio at Zandvoort, but when he sat down to reflect on the Dutch GP, the seven-time world champion made sure to give credit where it's due. Despite finishing fourth and losing valuable championship points, Hamilton was full of praise for the Scuderia's overall performance and the hard work going on back at the garage.

The frustration came from strategy calls that Hamilton felt cost him a podium. On lap 42, he was sitting in third with fresher tyres than teammate Charles Leclerc, but a lack of team orders and Leclerc's apparent refusal to pit the following lap had Hamilton venting on the radio. Later, under a Virtual Safety Car on lap 55, Hamilton questioned the pit wall again, asking if they were using him as a guinea pig. He eventually came out ahead of Leclerc but couldn't make up enough ground to challenge George Russell for third.
When it came time to speak with the media, Hamilton made sure his frustration was tempered with recognition of Ferrari's strengths. He told Sky F1 that the garage team did a fantastic job with pit stops and that the car felt awesome. He also acknowledged the performance gain the team's brought to the weekend and how they're constantly chipping away at closing the gap to rivals.

That said, Hamilton couldn't completely hide his disappointment. He admitted the day was frustrating because he's here to win and genuinely believes Ferrari can deliver a championship. Losing several seconds behind Leclerc ultimately cost him points at a crucial time, especially with penalties and tough recent races already piling up. With the Italian teenager holding a 59-point lead in the standings, Hamilton knows every point matters if he's going to lead this team to glory.
