To make matters slightly better, Hamilton did gain a spot thanks to Oscar Piastri receiving a three-place grid penalty for impeding Liam Lawson in Q2. Charles Leclerc also moved up one place from the penalty, so at least both Ferrari drivers benefited there. But that silver lining doesn't hide the bigger picture of what went wrong in qualifying itself. Hamilton's clearly frustrated that Ferrari had all the pieces in place and still managed to stumble when it counted most.
