How to Track Your 1lessidiot Order

Manish

Ordered something and want to know where it is? Good news: tracking is built into the process from the moment your parcel ships. Here's how it all works, and what to do when the courier is being mysterious.

You'll get a notification when it ships

Once we've packed and dispatched your order (within 1 to 2 working days of purchase), you'll receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number on WhatsApp and email. This is the signal that your parcel is on the move. If you placed a prepaid order, this is usually the last thing you need to do before it arrives at your door.

Use the track order page

You can check your order status at any point using the track your order page. Enter your order number and email, and it'll pull up the latest status from the courier. This works once the tracking number has been activated by the courier, which usually happens within a few hours of dispatch. If it says "no results" in the first hour or two after your dispatch notification, give it a bit and try again.

WhatsApp for a real-time update

For the fastest answer on a specific question (is my order stuck, why hasn't it moved, I need it by Saturday), WhatsApp is the right channel. You'll be talking to an actual person, not a bot, and we'll give you a straight answer about where things stand. Our number is on every order confirmation.

If the tracking hasn't updated in more than 48 hours

Couriers occasionally have delays in updating their systems, especially around weekends and peak periods. If your tracking number hasn't shown any movement in more than two business days after dispatch, reach out on WhatsApp with your order number and we'll look into it from our end. Most of the time it's a system lag and the parcel is moving fine, but it's always worth checking if it's been a while.

What real customer support looks like

This is one of the real differences between a small fan run shop and a marketplace: when you message us about your order, you get a reply from a human who actually knows what's happening. That's not scalable at a million orders a day, but it's the whole point of buying small. You're a customer, not a ticket number. The full story of why this matters to me is here.
