Let's break down where everyone stands. Mercedes have got Kimi Antonelli and George Russell pinned down on multi-year deals past 2027, though the exact lengths aren't fully public. Over at Ferrari, Charles Leclerc signed a two-year extension in June taking him through 2028, and Lewis Hamilton's got at least 2027 with an option for 2028. McLaren's pretty solid with Oscar Piastri locked in until 2028 alongside Norris. Red Bull's hinting that Isack Hadjar will be Verstappen's teammate in 2027, with Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson also expected to continue at the sister Racing Bulls team.

Now here's where it gets spicy. Haas are facing a proper reshuffle, with Esteban Ocon's contract expiring and Oliver Bearman's too. Ferrari looks keen to develop Bearman further at Haas, but there's no guarantee he stays. Rafael Camara, a Brazilian Ferrari junior, is pushing for a promotion, or they could go for McLaren reserve Leonardo Fornaroli. Williams have Alex Albon on a one-year deal through 2027 and Carlos Sainz locked in until 2029, so they're sorted. Alpine have Pierre Gasly through 2028 and Franco Colapinto to 2027.

The real question marks are at Aston Martin and Cadillac. Fernando Alonso says he's got a multi-year deal and sees himself at the Silverstone team in 2027, but he's openly doubting whether he'll actually race Grands Prix given how uninspiring he finds the current cars. Lance Stroll's tied down for 'several years', whatever that means. And at Cadillac, both Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas have multi-year contracts taking them through 2027, so that's locked in.
